Which book do I need?
One book, chosen by your state. If your state uses the MPJE, get your state's edition: it contains the federal law and your state's law in one volume. If your state has adopted the Uniform MPJE (thirteen jurisdictions so far; check NABP's participating-states page), get the Uniform MPJE guide. California candidates take the CPJE and should get the California edition. The Federal Anchor is the federal half on its own, for candidates in states we do not cover yet.
When will my book arrive?

Can I buy just the PDF?
Yes. Every guide has a PDF-only edition at a lower price, delivered instantly to your email. The paperback includes the same PDF free, so it is the better deal if you want both. PDFs are licensed for your personal use and are not for redistribution.
Do the books include practice exams?
Each guide has checkpoint questions at the end of every chapter, 10 per chapter with full answer rationales. They are written to teach the tested distinctions, not to imitate the real exam form, and none of our material reproduces actual exam content.
How current is the law?
Each book is the 2026-2027 edition and states its effective dates inside. The back matter lists the moving parts we are watching. When the law changes meaningfully, we refresh the edition; because the books are printed on demand, fixes reach new copies quickly.
Can I return a book?
Printed books are made for your order, so we cannot accept change-of-mind returns. If your copy arrives damaged or has a printing defect, contact us within 14 days with a photo and we will replace it at no cost. See the Refund policy for details.
